Zenith VR-9000W1 beta VCR

This was my other Wisconsin radio meet find. I finally found a beta tape at a thrift store (they only had 1 stuffed in with the vhs tapes!) After messing around with it a bit to unstick things, it will load the tape, rewind and fast forward. When I try to play the tape, it starts to do it for a few seconds, eats the tape a bit, then stops.

Assuming that I can fix this by just swapping belts and maybe idler tires, where can I get them for this? Also are all the belts accessed from the top? I don't want to bother taking it apart from underneath if I don't need to.

Zenith Beta VR 9000 W

I'm certain that this VCR has the same mech as the Sony SL 5400 I used to own about 20 years ago. IIRC, the idler, pinch roller and counter belt are accessed from the top, everything else from the bottom (capstan, reel belt etc.), just undo one (2?) pcb's underneath and the mech is all there.
