Soviet KT-132 camera

Recently I had an opportunity to see a museum room that was not open to the public yet. But my particular interest in this subject prompted the attendant to bring the key for a sneak-preview...

Enclosed some pictures I snapped, just in a hurry because I intend to return anyway, also to talk with the people in charge for this nice collection.

An example for KT-132 at work:

From 3:20. Don't be surprised, the first three minutes (which also give a reference for the copy loss) were just tune-up, immediately preceded by the test card.

Another one:

EFP inserts most likely from a KCR. And with this show one must be careful, other editions had been made with a combination of the predecessor, the KT-116, and the same fancy Grass Valley vision mixer...

Soviet Cameras

Spurred on by Adlershof's post and another email I received I have re-worked the Soviet Camera section of the Museum site. see

http://www.tvcameramuseum.org/soviet/sovthumb.htm

Several new pictures and cameras have been added and at least one naming error corrected.

Little is known, by me at least, about soviet cameras so if you have any information or further corrections please help.

There is some doubt in my mind about the naming or sequence of manufacture of the KT-87 KT-116 cameras?, all seem to be the same basic camera.

Where was the museum where you saw this camera? It certainly looks like a nice one.
