Is there a place here to post about dvd repair?

Got a Sony DVP-S300 with no power. I think P312 fuse? Appears open after a E 01700 error code.

I suppose the Flat Panel & Digital Formats would be as good a place as any.

That was one of Sony's first DVD players if I remember right. I have never done much with trying to repair any players, since they became so cheap to just buy new ones so fast.

Same here but i figure if i can replace a 50 cent part.....i'd rather fix an older one than buy anything that's on the shelf now except maybe another bluray. Had two of them already. just not much interest.
