ID help w/BIG Zenith Space Command
Hello everyone!
I don't make it over to the TV section much, but the other day I ran across a really big (and sort of modern looking) Space Command. No remote of course. Anyhow, it may have had a separate model #, I can't remember, maybe a 3000 or 4000???. It did say Space Command. It sat on a swivel base and it had big, gray sides that flared out from the screen and may have contained speakers. The flares on the sides extended behind the screen where it was rounded off. Just wondering if it would be a good old set to snatch up. I have been lurking for a good vintage set. Any advice would be much appreciated. herbs

The set you describe sounds like the curved system 3 Chassis sets built from around 77 -81. They do not have the same bullet proof reputation as the chroma color 2 Sets, but if it has survived this long, it should be find. Properly tuned it should give you a picture as good as anytimi new.
