Yes Chris. It developed a dead pixel right in the middle of the imaging CCD just before the warranty ran out and I was unable to get it to a dealer. I just live with it. If it is an important picture I try to photoshop out the blue line.

That is a major bummer and Murphys Law - if something breeaks it will break just after the guarantee expires.
