I have a watch on this set. I think it is 1949 and not 1950s. It's about a fifty mile drive one way. I was half way there today picking up a SC-10. I have a set of beer costers with US television printed on them so I should get this TV to go with them?

They are mainly known for their projection sets for bars and clubs in 1947-48. For a brief time they had more sets in these places than any other manufacturer until RCA overtook them.
Here are some of their sets: http://www.earlytelevision.org/ustv_t507.html http://www.earlytelevision.org/ustv_t508.html |

"Steve McVoy",
Thanks for the links to the ad's! Thats really interesting,I bet that would have been a big deal to see one back in a bar in the 40's.

I've seen one of those T-508's in person. It's absoutely hideous....I passed on it for $50 about 10 years ago.
