Attention 15" color TV owners

Here's a cool item for you guys with CT100's and other 15" sets... some issues of National TV/Radio News from 1953-56. Seven issues total, and looks like one of the issues has articles about 15" color CRTs. I wonder what kind of info is in that article?

Check it out!

Those are really great magazine issues. I have that second one, the Radio Electronics. I got almost full years 54, 55 and 56 of RE plus '54 Howard Sams service magazine. All of these followed early color TV from the beginning. Someone left a box of unsold magazines at their vacated vendor space at at the Annual AWA radio meet in Rochester a few years ago and guess what was in the box!!!!

I am sure one of our AK 15" color set owners will want to get these. The first auction's magazine looks like it has a lot to say about color CRTs. It would be very interesting to know what it says. Would be neat to find out if there was any useful info in there concerning the prototype 15" toobs.... especially since some of our 15" set owners have either prototype sets or prototype CRTs.

Grabber cover

Like Rob, I
have that R.E. with Faye Emerson on the cover. I found it years ago in a back issue magazine store. I think seeing this very image started me on the hunt for a 15" set.
