I always liked Plymouths, and the fuselage styled models were sensational. One family I knew bought a new 1970 Plymouth Grand Fury 2 door from Amityville, New York. They wanted one big enough for their middle daughter who was about 5'6". Some guy I knew a lot later bought a 1971 or so Plymouth Fury 4 door sedan in beige with a white top. He gakked it out in Panther Pink paint and custom wheels after stripping the vinyl top off. It was in better shape, but the originality was ruined. Your Plymouth has about the best styling of the fuselage line.

I have always liked Duesenberg cars, Jey's Garage on youtube has a few he
did complete resto's on, Not him, but a duesenberg specialist. Still, If I were Jay,
I'd have to do at least those exotics so to speak.... Some may not think of
them as exotics.... Not sure I do either....

I like it when Jay takes them out for a ride and you get to hear them as they
drive, the transmission noise, all that good stuff....

They just don't come any cleaner than that! Wow! I, too, had never realized those side markers lit up like that. I really appreciate those little details; I like original dealer nameplates, too, and make sure and leave them on everything in my fleet. I don't know if I'll ever own a fuselage Mopar myself, but I sure do like 'em.

A friend of mine has a huge stash of NOS Mopar parts from a closed dealer, plus brochures. Very poorly organized, but if anybody is hunting for something let me know. It'll give me an excuse to go digging through the pile some rainy Saturday!

Please pardon the bump all, but I MUST have been sleeping (or off cars for a bit) when this posted last year.

Doug must have three fine MoPars by now. The Coronet video was awesome!

Check out the old commercial with that familiar voice

My first and third cars were 1973 Fury II post hardtops both built in Newark Delaware, the first a 400-2 barrel and the second a police interceptor with a 440. Lots of TV hauling in those beasts

Wow .Beautiful car there.I had a 1974 Satellite up to the mid 1990's which mechanically ran great but the body rotted away and end up getting a Chevy Caprice station wagon to replace it.I missed those V8's 318 and the GM 305s since now I got a 4 cyl Subaru.
