Sweep generators

Looking into sweep generators. I have a Sencore SG165 but it only does FM and AM. What are your favorites for TV and FM?

Wavetek 1002 or 1081. Both offer post birdy marker injection at 1, 10 and 100 MHz increments. Here's an example aligning an Admiral with the lower 21 MHz IF.

There are two of the Wavetek 1002's on epay at the moment and the cheap one is $600 and sold as is untested! A little too much for me.

Way overpriced. I think I got mine for $20. Be patient - a much cheaper one will show up.

I saw that one and a few more at outrageous prices. I'm going to keep looking.

Knowing nothing about those products, I'll ask a dumb question. Do you mean that either model would be appropriate for vintage TVs (i.e., you can use one or the other, but you wouldn't need both)?

Yes, either model - they both have very similar features. The 108x is newer with digital readouts.

I updated my original post to 'or' instead of 'and'
