1997 RCA Set Repair Part Search

Looking to see if anyone on here has or could lead me where to find an eeprom for the RCA Set with the CTC 177AM2 Chassis? My Repairman is telling me we might need this to get my set going again properly. I am willing to pay the fair price for this part.

Thanks.

There are a few old OEM suppliers for RCA still out there. They probably
have strips of them left. Since I am not active others can tell you who
they are. To get the 6 digit part ## there was a sheet out that
listed by chassis ##, or see manual. They are all the same BUT are pre programed for different features & OSD etc so you do need the right ones.

Zeno is right, the 50 plus different versions of these chassis used the same eeprom but were loaded uniquely depending on menu features and the way the specific board was populated.

I have a programmer but I stopped working on these before I acquired the programmer for later flat TV main boards so I never built a .bin file library on these, but if you can get a .bin file for your version, you can just reflash the eeprom you have (which is probably fine - just corrupt). If you or your repairman doesn't have a programmer, I can do that for you.

What is your TV doing or not doing that you believe requires a new eeprom to fix?

John
