Sweet. Too bad it's the wrong brand to work with my CED player.

What does the Page button do . . . ?

This filthy two-handed remote that's been sitting around in my shop for years also controls a radio, phono, tape, and CD player.

I've got that remote too. Supposedly if you drill a hole between the VCR and AUX buttons and push the button beneath the metal cover it will go into CED mode...IIRC it is the same as the deluxe CED remote, only with that button covered up after they stopped selling CED players.

I tried my remote with the player I got from you and it did not respond to it so either the above I wrote is wrong, the player lacks an IR sensor or has an issue with the IR receiver circuitry. One of these days I'll have to pull the player out of the main equipment cluster, open it and check existence and function of the IR receiver system.

Guess what!
I was looking through some of my treasures (Junk) and I found the remote you were looking for! It's a little cleaner and it does have the disc button that you're looking for. I'll bring it to the next WARCI meet in November.
Cheers, Dave!
