That combo should have a pair of legs just below the CRT. Looks like someone amputated them at some point in its life.

I have the French provincial version of this combo and it has the extra two legs but also has the sliding tambor doors that cover the screen when not in use. It dates to 1963 and uses a RCA clone chassis based on the CTC12. It has the astrosonic solid state tuner and amp with 15 inch woofers and horn tweeters. Mine has remote also. Nice set when restored and if you have the room...LOL

My 1963 Admiral combo also uses a clone on the CTC-12 chassis, sort of. It's an Admiral built chassis, but it's just like a mirror image of an RCA chassis. Same circuits and stuff, only everything is mirrored.

I live near where it is or was, I was trying to think how to make space for it. Hope it went to a good home.

Well tvcollector, if you are referring to me, I am up in the Tampa area. I have 4 aircraft carriers in my collection, no more room in the inn. I like smaller sets, like table top combos like the ones GE made in the early to mid 60's. All the best, Tom.J
