Built a wall wart digital clock
A "wall wart clock". Use it in the kitchen in an outlet just above the countertop. Or in your workbench, when you want to know the time. Okay, rather lame, but I did have a location where I wanted a clock and no shelf to put it... As you can easily guess, it was a generic digital alarm clock that I relocated the display on, and used a plug salvaged from a cell phone charger on its new back.

Looks pretty sleek. Like it was meant to be that way.

It had a diode resistor network to operate it from 120 volts AC. |

Now I'm curious. What's a "wall wart", lmao. I once noticed a bumper sticker on the back of an old truck some years ago and it said, "Mal-Wart, a great place for cheap plastic crap". This reminded me of that sticker.
