Happy 4th of July

Our (USA) 4th of July is on July 4th this year. Other countries have their 4th of July's on other days.
One of my friends said "Ain't you the patriotic peacock"...

The noise has just started up this evening. I hate the noise! Either it's fireworks or QRN from thunderstorms. By Friday it'll be over then time to plan for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I''l finish my computer projects and start my Zenith 8S154 restoration.

Ahahaha, good one Captain America.

Not much went on for our 150th where I am that I know of. I'm sure the waterfront was overloaded with tourists and our borderline useless bus system was performing only slightly better than whenever they're on strike. I really wish the tourists would stay away from this region simply because it is is an embarrassment to the rest of the country.

Not complaining, just making well-deserved fun of this epic failure of a region.

Dang, lighten up. What's wrong with the region you live in?

Anyways, I just went to the Anaheim Angels fireworks game. Complete game shutout lol. Now just looking forwards to Shango's 4th of July EOL video.

How much time do you have?

Dude, I said I was making fun of the region. It's sarcastic humor, doesn't come through very well in text form. Our national holiday was yesterday.

A guy working at a bank told me he knew a couple who moved here from Winnipeg to escape their winters. I felt like asking him if they were high, ruining themselves just to get out of being cold.

Thanks. Canadian Tire is giving out limited-edition commemorative 10-cent notes over 3 days, nicer looking than on the website too.

Looks like it's going to be a rainy one here. Oddly, not a single bottle rocket or firecracker to be heard yet!

The Milwaukee lakefront fireworks display, just wasn't that impressive. It seems like they did it on the cheap. Fourty miniutes of what seemed to be the same type of fireworks blown off, with no memorable finish, just more of the same, after a short pause.
I'm glad, I just saw it on TV, as it's 45 miles from me.
