Yummy CTC-4 up for grabs (well, up for auction)

Me like.

Too bad I vowed not to buy any more TVs this year. Do people go to Hell for breaking their vows? Is Hell really that bad, anyway?

Screw the vows and go for it Phil! That's a great set, I have the same one that's almost mint.

No bids from me. I have two patients on the operating table and more in the waiting room.

Someone else will get a nice TV.

You have cancer? I am so sorry to hear this. You are such a kind and decent person. You where one of the few people on here that would put up with me. Please take care and I will say a prayer for you.

Hi Ed,

yes, it is a small cell lung carcinoma in extensive disease. Meanwhile, after four cycles of chemotherapy, no significant tumor marker could be found in the blood, which is a very good result. I am very happy about it, but I also know that this type of cancer is very dangerous. Thank you for your prayer.

I remember your high valuable contributions, when I fixed the CTC-5 in the thread

http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=30364

This was one of my most exciting tv projects in my life!

Kind regards,
Eckhard

That is great news that the chemotherapy worked. I forgot to mention you have a good sense of humor. That was so funny when you posted about the transformer park.

Eckhard, I'm very glad to hear that the treatment is working. I will pray for you.

I wonder who won this set? If it's someone here, I hope they fill us in on the condition. Looks like a really nice one.
