Awesome night lights!

Want a cool night light for your room or workshop? Its easy!

1. open all the doors on your consoles and make sure all your TVs face out
2. install black lights on the ceiling and the wall opposite the TVs.
3. Turn on the black light, turn off the lights.

4. enjoy the glow!!

I can't believe how the phosphors react with the black lights. especially the black and white sets.

It seems that B&W CRTs glow greenish yellow, standard color CRTs glow dark green, and black matrix / earth phosphor CRTs glow dark blue or purple.

VERY COOL!

Pretty neat but I prefer to make them glow from the inside.

True, but since I haven't gotten to those sets yet, that is the only light they are going to produce

The party is at Mr. Dylon's house tonight!

Jordon:

I, too, have discovered how the vintage sets look with a blacklight... and during those times... it made some friends of mine say "Wowwww!" My question is this- What else were you burning other than a blacklight when you made this discovery????
