Kam, really glad to see you on here-I remember some good posts you had when I first joined, the CT-100 saga, etc. I'd really like to see some of the guys come back in the fold who have been away for awhile: Polaraman, Heathkit TV, Captain Moody. I ain't forgot about you!

But, yeah there are a few glitches, my old avatar is back.. The whole site is as it sat 3weeks ago. I changed my avatar and some info on my User CP previously that is back to the way it was before.

But I know admins will fix, this is the best site ever!
Audiokarma (Videokarma), you are my coffee!!!
I posted about the September posts... And let me say that I'm pleased we have a new forum just for the TV people, and I look forward to spending time here, as I will still do in the AK forums.

I was just over there, and still the link directs me to a "Not Found" page.

From another post of mine in the AK News forum: "That's because I clicked on the link displayed on the audiokarma forums page (http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/index.php). The link they give there does not work (http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=166), even though next to it it reads: "Click here to find the new home for all of Audiokarma's TV and Radio forums www.videokarma.org"."

Is that the same link you fixed, or are you talking about a different one?

Here's my historic first thread to this new video forum. Neat old idea to create videokarma. Represents quite a commitment and dedication for the Board to move forward and implement the idea. Congratulations!

This was a surprise to me, but despite the loss of a few threads, I think having a separate tv board was a great idea, and I like having the tv classifieds back the way they used to be.
This worked fine for me, but as a number of us have noticed, it
does not work anymore. Trying to open such links now leads
to a page requesting some kind of internal password. Why?

The forum is back and the link from audiokarma.org even works.

I updated my CTC-11 whining, which came to a happy end (at least for the no-luminance problem).

Yay!

I love it! Thanks Grumpy and Kamakiri for making this possible. I also love vintage TV's & video games as well and I will enjoy this site very much. PS- do I get to show off all my old video game systems too??

Any chance of the photo gallery coming over?

Are the two photo galleries for TVs coming over as well? - Horizontal Hold and the Vintage TV brochure galleries.

Nice expansive split from AK. I used to repair the old X-Y monitors for arcade games, so the new forums should be enjoyable.

Oh, and sponsor ads - any plans to sell advertising?

Cheers,

Good idea moving the old TV and radio stuff!

BTW, I never found the Hoffman TV in Portland mentioned in a recent post. Finaly made it there a week ago last Friday, but the lady said it was gone!

Okay, I don't have time to go over this whole thread before work, so if these questions have already been answered, I apologize:

How tightly integrated is Videokarma to Audiokarma? I like that my AK membership transferred over. But if I were to, like change my signature or avatar on Audiokarma, would it change here as well?

Why an entirely seperate forum? Was AK just getting too cluttered with offshoot forums?

Does my AK subscription give me any perks here?
