JVC/Nivico Radio SW Turntable from the 60's

Hi. I got this a couple weeks ago, and was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this before.

Ultra-cool! Never seen one. Maybe a model aimed at the US military personnel stationed overseas?

I moved this to the Phonograph section.

That thing is really cool! Reminds me of the RCA Skipper somewhat but it's more elaborate.

No, I've never seen one before.

I don't think any Japanese company at the time would regard itself
as a supplier for US military personnel...

Great looking set. Anything with a shortwave band or two has some
appeal to me!
