Need help - Telev. Channel Inductors

Hello everyone. I need some help. I have NOS of some vintage electronic parts that were my late father's. I have enclosed 2 pictures of one of the parts. All of these parts are made by James Millen Mfg Co. Inc. On each part box it says, "Inductor for 92101 Telev. Channel No. (2, 3, 4, etc.)". My father worked on communication equipment, as well as old televisions and radios. Any help in solving this mystery would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Those don't look like they were part of a TV set(far too big to be part of any tuner I've ever heard of)....More like a piece of TV test gear or a TV transmitter (hard to say which as most transmitters were fixed channel and would not use plugins like that, and most test gear used a switch to select between BUILT-IN tuned coils like those).
