Pete,
When you use the visual mill software, it is best to use it on a well-adjusted CRT display. I've found that laptop-type LCDs (where you adjust contrast by tilting the screen) can reduce the color contrast in some areas and perhaps increase it in others. On the most critical ("100 hue") tests, I found my errors doubling when I used my laptop. The CRT is still the gold standard for color reproduction. I know you'll enjoy trying it on yourself and friends too. |
