Hi,

I can't seem to find the sub forum or whatever you call it where all of the laserdisc geeks hang out. I want to read and post new threads in this section...but all I see are places where VHS and Betamax stuff is. Can anyone help?

Welcome to Videokarma. I don't think we have a specific forum for laserdiscs

Don't post in the curbside forum. That's for stuff listed for sale on craigslist, ebay, etc.

I suggest either 'Magnetic Media/Tape' or 'Flat Panels & Digital Format' for now.

Welcome!

I'd say the "Magnetic Media/Tape" section would be the most appropriate place as there are some old threads there about LD and CED video disc systems there.

I have, in the last 2-5 years, amassed a small collection of LD and CED players and discs, and done some repair on my players so I know some things on that subject.

I never began any threads on that matter though as the only non-mundane fixes I made were done before I was a member of any forum.

Thanks everyone for your replies! One of the things I am looking for on here is someone who can or will service my Magnavox VH-8005. Bayview said they don't want to take this on..and I've contacted several other people who said they didn't know of anyone. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Again....Thanks!
