Un identified tv cabinet. 1950s.

Picked this up yesterday for free behind the usual thrift store dumping area I go to. Some idiot has converted this but I had no idea what it really was till I got home. Does anyone here know what brand/model it used to be? Heck, if the parts are cheap enough and can be found easy enough, I'd be interested in restoring.

Looks like it could have been a Packard-Bell.
Resembles their cabinet styling, but with that hack-job, it's hard to tell!

Now that you mention it, it does look like that. But who knows now. Anyone else?

Only markings left on this cabinet was a label I found on the back near the top center behind the back panel they made for this. It reads:

TO PREVENT DANGEROUS
ELECTRICAL SHOCK, RE
PLACE FRONT GLASS BE
FORE REPLACING BACK
COVER
