A blonde I dragged home from Flint Michigan

Hey Carmine/Sanjarali/Blight king
Look what I just picked up in Flint. Its a Zenith 5331U with a 25MC33 chassis. As I am not a Zenith fan I thought I would put it on here 1st (ebay next) Anyone who might want this set and can pick it up, can make a trade or cash offer. (not you Carmine) I like sets from the 40's and RCA color sets. Let me know if your interested.

Have not got that far as of yet. The cord is cut. Will try to look at it this weekend. It could use a good cleaning, but looks like it will clean up nice.

Wow, wow wow. You are a lucky man! I'd trade 10 sets for that one!

Me, too, but my WIFE would likely NOT see the humor in THAT situation at all...

Very nice looking set! If I was near, I'd come pick that up for sure. But alas, I'm still stuck in Alabama. Only 20 months until I move to Wisconsin.

Sure is a beauty of a set. I wonder what you'd be looking for cash wise. Have you even tested the CRT or even tried to apply power to it to see what happens? Looks like the adhesive behind the cataract is on it's way out.

I love Blonde wood of that era.

I'm sorry OT&T, but I've really got more roundies than I have room for and even a blonde 29 set. Just no place for it now. Good luck with the sale!

Glad to hear you have so many roundies. But if you learn to read you would of known, this set would never be yours.

Finally after 43 years we now know who the Carly Simon song was written for.

Are there any songs about guys who are mildly obsessed with other guys, and manage to mention them regardless of how tenuous the connection?

Then maybe there is another where the obsessed guy is too cement-headed to realize other guy is having a laugh at his expense?

'cause that would be a good song.

All that having been said 'toy, I'm sorry but I don't have room for another Zenith blonde color set. :

I won't deny it's tempting. I'm not far from you and I have a truck...

But downside is I have little experience with tube TV's much less roundies, and I have little of value to trade, well, unless you want a Motorola B&W TV from 1965 that still works.
