Hi, so Sue & Roger in central NY just got an old TV!

and now we're the NY newbie oldie TV team! We both like old stuff of any kind. We have old cars, old stereos (we recently got one through Audiokarma), old trains, old furniture, and now an old color TV which you can see in the Avatar. It only sort-of works, so we'll need LOTS & LOTS of help with it and we're very glad this group is here! Thanks from Binghamton NY and hello to all the old TV folks!!

Welcome.

If the red and blue electron guns in that CRT also work (green clearly does), then given you have a full raster most of the unobtainium parts/important circuits are working at least very close to normal.

Have you applied an RF signal source to it yet? Seeing video on the screen will give more info on it's issues.

Thanks Tom C.:
It's still enroute, so we'll know more when it arrives. I added some details in the Early Color TV thread. We're pretty much total newbies, though Hubs has tinkered some with old radios and stereos, nothing serious however, so our learning curve will be pretty steep! Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome to VK!
Just looking at the control panel, I'm almost sure it's a 25MC33 chassis with motorized tuning. There's tons of info on Zenith Roundies with the 25MC33 Chassis here, so start searching the archives!
