How many tvs do you have?

Ok, Im kinda bored at the moment. We all are collectors of either color, b/w or both. How many tvs do you have? break it down into the types of sets. Be honest!!!!
my current oversized collection of tube type/hybrid only sets:

B/w console: 2
b/w portable: 18
Color, rectangular console: 7
Color, 21" round console: 6
Color, portable: 8
Color, Table: 6
(remote controlled sets, only 8)

Oldest set, 1956 zenith sc200 console,
Newest, 1973 zenith chromacolor portable.
(oldest color, 1961 rca ctc11)

Current collection as of 10-6-03, 47 Televisions! two more comming soon to make 49. Now to include every single set in the house, total is: 55.

Lets here the stats on your collection!

Damn Doug... you're loaded up over there!

Mine...

21" round color... 12
B/W console........ 6
B/W portable....... 14
color portable...... 1
Philco Predicta..... 1

34 sets total. Wasn't sure which catagory to put the Predicta in, and then decided it kinda needed a catagory of its own.

Guys- Gulp !!- I'm not worthy ! I'm not worthy ! I've only got about 2 dozen or so- lots of the little mid-80's Japanese hand-held sets. I DO have a '65 Zenith roundie, though, so I guess there's hope for me yet.-Sandy G.

Yes, the Admiral/Sony is an unusual set. The front of the set looks just like the Admiral picture on the photofact folder with a small volume/fine tuning knob between the channel knobs, the circuitry is the same, it uses Admiral tubes. It says "Sony" on the front panel. The set originally was a monitor/receiver, it has a switch for TV/line, but the previous owner removed the video/audio patch panel for some reason. The back cover says "Sony" and it has a long, 3-conductor power cord like the RCA monitor/receivers I have. Sorry I don't have a digital camera, so cannot provide photo.

I had a sony vtr with a re-badged admiral b/w tv/monitor from 1968, Thought it was odd that sony would do that. Maybe was something sony america only did?

Guys- I remember that oddball Sony color- There was a Sony distributor in Knoxville, & I cajoled my dad into taking me there a lot. But he liked looking at all the neat stuff, too. I remember seeing one of those one time back when I was 11 or 12, & I remember it because it was color & didn't "look" like a Sony. Seems like it was on a roll-around cart, & may have had an early VTR with it. I have one of the 1st Trinitrons, a '69 7" color that came from Hammacher-Schlemmer in NYC. I don't think Sony ever really officially imported it into the US. I'd give my eyeteeth to get it working again.-Sandy G.

Yow!

My jaw is on the floor!!
Looks like some of you guys could open up a museum. I'm totally jealous!
Not going to list the sets I own--I'd be too embarrassed. But how's about some pictures, fellas? Ya know, with the right marketing, a collection of pics could be turned into a nice coffee table book. I'd buy a copy. Maybe two, so I could keep one nice and drool all over the other.
Bob, who's wishing he'd bought a BIG house with a garage!
