MAYBE the best idea I've ever had! EVERYONE look!
Thinking about veg-o's thread about what to watch on a roundie, I began to wonder if there was a place to get TV news broadcasts from the past. Turns out there is!
http://tvnews.vanderbilt.edu/ Now, my idea here is that since the cost goes down substantially if there is a multiple date order, maybe people would be interested in having a broadcast of a special day.....for the day they were born, a special news event, something.....as I read it the cost per new report goes down from $100 to $27.00 with a larger order. Anyone interested?

Did you see the bit about compilation tapes? The per story price drops even further although there's a $10 per tape set up fee.
Do the math, if a single cassette holds about an hour of tape and each news story is less than 3 minutes what a friggin deal this becomes! Still seems like a lotta dough though........wish they'd make these stories downloadable instead of going thru all the labor and expense of running off a dupe. Anthony PS Is that a cat or a dog quenching it's thirst? What's that aftertaste? Last edited by heathkit tv; 03-11-2004 at 05:22 PM. |
