For rarity, we all probably want the Sylvania "rectangular"-CRT set (whose CRT appears only slightly less round than the normal ones). Was that set ever even built? I know the Westinghouse was.

There's only one Sylvania 31T304 known...

but it has changed hands at least two times in as many years. Round tube and no, not a halolight.

i take the hoffman at the etf.the one on wheels.i think that is the nicest looking early set.just needs a good crt.you can have the rectangulars,nothing like watching a roundie

So is there any indication that Sylvania produced a early rectangular set...and if they did did it use the CBS Hytron tube?
