I'm gonna build an ATU!

G'day all, maybe this is just nostalgia but I'm going to build a 'PI' network ATU, like in the old days! I've always liked 'PI' network tuners and I have a 'gut feeling' that they probably work bettter (less lossy) than the 'T' match units that seem to be everywhere these days.

I've got quite a few suitable receiving variable capacitors from old valve radios (easily good enough for 100 watts of SSB), some good high Q coils and suitable PL259 connectors. All I have to do now is build one! Regards, Felix (vk4fuq) aka catman.
