It's me. I came across the tv before I came across this thread. I had been looking for this one for a while and got excited when I saw it. I had one like this back in the 80's and like an idiot, let it go.
Couldn't stand to let it become a fishtank (as is a suggestion on this or one of this guy's auctions) so I bid high. Didn't intend to create a bidding war. Just wanted to, and intend to, bring her home and never let her go. Last edited by RCAkid; 06-16-2010 at 09:30 AM. |

I bid again, before I saw your post.
If you love the set, go for it. I won't continue to bid on it. I love the set as well, and I had one in the 80's, but I probably wouldn't have bid on it, had it not been in my state. Treat it well if you end up getting it! Hopefully another bidder doesn't jump in at the last minute. Last edited by jstout66; 06-16-2010 at 06:05 PM. Reason: incomplete befor I posted |

Like I said...as long as ONE of "US" gets the set...it does not really matter that much to me that I cannot. I have one JUST like it anyway...only a year newer. It looks ALMOST the same---inside and out. A couple of differnet tube types and mine has UHF--and that is about all of the difference.
