Talking Admiral console stereo rescue!

I just scored a WORKING Late 60's Admiral console stereo for The Best Price. I was driving home in my LeSabre, and I spotted it in under somebody's carport. I went home, got the truck, and loaded it up in the rain. Got it in the garage, plugged it in, and what do you know, it sounds amazing. Four 6BQ5's, and a 12AX7 reverberator.

And yes, before anyone asks, I asked, and the lady said I could have it.

Saw a date code on the 5U4 of 61-46. I was thinking late 60's, not early.

I have a CTC12* with 2 6x9 speakers in that garish style. Don't let that detract any from putting some work into it. The Custom Ensign Changer, PP amp, reverb and speakers are undoubtedly TOTL for Admiral.

My '64 Admiral console is basic with SE outputs and no reverb, but it makes quite a lot of bass. That one is a boss-level unit.

*After having this FP white-painted, gold trimmed roundie since 1979, its finally (!!!) getting stripped and a cherry stain applied. Another VK member sold me a NOS flyback for it.
