As an aside to this post, my CT will be coming home on Saturday from a full cabinet restoration

It looks to be a pretty clean example. It does have a 21CT55 pencil box.
Tim, please post pictures of your CT-100 restoration. I'm planning to have my CT cabinet restored this year and would be interested in what finish and materials they used. Also check out my CT-100 Rose Parade pictures. Kirk Stanski has kindly posted the url to my web page on his thread "Happy Birthday Compatible Color TV."

Evidently this set does not work since he says it is for display. I wonder why he says "Electrically the condition is great". In any case, looks like it has lots of potential for bringing back to life. Hope the CRT is good.

Kam,

We will be awaiting pictures of yours!

Merely an observation

Hmmm. Just mention CT100 on this forum and suddenly everyone's throwing boners!

It's the set to have!

Once I get my nice one back together, then I have to figure out a game plan as to what to do with the other one.

Didja also see this CT-100 Knob? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3638

He also has one for the 21-CT-55 version. Hope someone can use either of them.

i am kinda surprised that the bidding only went up to $1270. Even though the set is not working, i would have expected it to be quite a bit higher. Maybe everyone is still recovering from the Christmas holidays.

Since the reserve was not met, i guess it will get relisted.
