Could you also post the date code of this tube? I would like to add the tube to my page on the subject. Thanks, Pete. http://home.att.net/~pldexnis/potpou...le_History.htm BTW, the serial number is 10032; you may find it etched into the phosphor dot plate and shadow mask mounting assemblies (viewable through the edge of the faceplate). IK2758 is not part of the serial number for this tube. I suspect RCA Lancaster had a load of unused but stamped s/n labels and simply over-stamped them with the number that identified the matched assemblies. |

I wonder if he has tried tapping the neck to get that other filament to light? I have one 21FJP22 that had a loose filament; after tapping it has worked for years, no problem.
