Sunday at 9:00 am is when it's broadcast here on WRIT, FM 95.7. I seldom miss it!
This morning, Saturday Craig Orendorff, "Seems Like Old Times" on WGXI, a 500 watt station in Plymouth, Wi. 1420 AM.
I guess it used to be a daylight only station, but the FCC allows it to run at night at only 27 watts. There's several stations around that follow that practice.

Comes in loud & clear up here in Appleton, on the internet stream! Giving it a listen right now. It's playing a syndicated program called "Radio Deluxe", and so far I'm enjoying it very much.

Thanks for the teaser.

I just finished editing The Ted Heath Orchestra's 'Uptown Blues' into a excerpts to use as a ringtone and notification tone for my new Moto G7 power (moto's stock ringtones suck......It's like they hired someone who hates music and likes loud siren/alarm like noises to pick the stock sounds)

Yup they are probably the best (IIRC) brittish big band I'm familiar with... Pretty much all my big band/swing is on LP* (I had to digitize the song then play with it in audacity to make the part I wanted into a ringtone) so I wouldn't have guessed Alexa would find it...

*I've probably got over 800 swing albums in my collection... seems I'm the only one at the local Goodwills that buys swing...At 1 buck an album it is hard to go wrong.

I'm stuck at work, but the local high school Jazz band that's having their concert here is pretty good

Usually I have the <sarc>pleasure</sarc> of listening to modern classical/avant garde crap being rehearsed here while I'm trying to work.

Last week we had a clarinet player that sounded just like Squidward Tentacles. SQUEEK!.......out of tune bad music SQUEEK!........

I was ready to stick his clarinet where the sun don't shine
