It does look very 3D printable, doesn't it? There's a very thin wall though around the center, that's probably too thin to print.

Not sure exactly what part you're referring to, but there will be a 3D cad file before printing is possible. 3D cad files can be edited so assuming there is not a specific reason/need for that part to be thin the cad file can always be tweaked to thicken it.

On one side only, on the center ring that goes around the neck. That's paper thin, not realistically printable. I imagine deleting it entirely would work, or thickening it, but I don't know how the components fit into it. I suppose printing it thicker on the inside of the ring would work, and then machining it down. But that creates an extra step to do, and PLA plastic might not take too kindly to that fine of a cut. Also, ABS sucks.

I think this thickness would affect the strength of the convergence correction.
An alternative would be to not print the thin wall and substitute a separate plastic ring insert, making this a simple two-piece assembly.

Eh. Someone just buy a good one and send it to China and have them copy it with actual injection molding.
