Zenith Model SN2589AR Console Television in Brevard, Fl

Hello All. Greetings from Florida's Space Coast. Im in the process of clearing out my folks estate. This is my first post so please be gentle.

Vintage Zenith System3 Console Television TV w/ Space Command Remote

1980s vintage television needs a good home!

Original owner selling Zenith System3 25"d Console Television Model SN2589AR with remote.

The wooden cabinet is in like new condition. Never moved, it has been in the same room that it was delivered to in the 1980s.

Needs work. Does not power up.

Heres a link to the Craigslist ad:

Make an offer, im really hoping a local videokarma collector would like to add this to their collection.

Good luck.

There ain't many members in Florida, there ain't many members that collect stuff as new as System 3 (~1978+), and those two groups don't overlap much.

If you can find someone who will, for free, prevent you from having to haul it yourself to an Ewaste company and pay ~$30 for them to take it and junk it, then you will be doing fairly well.

It's a nice set, sadly probably not worth $60 since it doesn't power up.

I would really like that set... Nice cabinet style with "modern" guts.

Florida kinda makes it a deal killer.

Anyone know what that would run to ship to MI?

Thanks all for the replies.

I have posted it here hoping to save it from ewaste. It is a shame that it doesn't power up (capacitors?) because it has a beautiful like new cabinet. Prolly to much effort to restore the electronics but a great cab for repurposing.

The ad's price is a starting point for the general public. I will donate it to any videokarma member or collector that wants to pick it up.
