Actually, I only turned those sets on so I could shoot the last analog-election coverage... I'm really watching this... (But I did vote this morning)

It's Detroit Heat, (1974) an awesome Blacksplotation movie on the local UHF station!

I was watching the returns on my RCA CTC185 from about 6:30 this evening, but after about two and a half hours I gave up and decided to wait until all results are in. I don't think even the 10 p.m. news (there are two such newscasts in this area, on channels 8 and 43) will have the full results because the polls on the West Coast are just closing at that hour (three hours time difference). Will probably wait until tomorrow and watch the final outcome on the noon news on channel 3, although it will certainly be in the morning paper on the front page as well, in a headline with letters six inches high.

I'm watching it on two CTC53s, a CTC55, and a Sharp XG-P25X on the big screen. Of course it will be the last over the air election for the RCAs.

Actually, all the TV's got some action tonight. A 17" 77 Zenith CCII, a 23" Zenith CCII console from '76, a 19" RCA XL100 from 1980, and an '85 19" Sony Trinitron.

I don't watch television except the Weather Channel. I don't have to. Everyone else seems to want to keep me informed.

I'd like seeing that set in person anytime!. I wonder if the repairmen for Elvis' sets ever comes here? I guess somebody took the brightness knob as a souvenier? Did the center metal cover from the UHF knob get lost? Does somebody here really posess that set? If so... WOW!!!
