RCA Victor Orthophonic SHF5 curb rescue

Hi Guys, It happens to all of us with "trained" vision, if you know what I mean.
Out of the corner of my eye, I spot a console record player in front of a derelict rowhouse.

Phono gone

major delamination

The amp looks good though
Speaking of drive-bys, this is a part of town where things are at the curb all the time, regardless of when or if the refuse is picked up that day.
I have been seeing mirages of RCA New Vista Color sets and the like for several years as I pass thru here to my job. I would have noticed this sooner, but Im sure it was soaking up precipitation in a backyard until very recently.

As I looked closer, I saw it was an RCA Victor Orthophonic, and I was sure before opening it there was nothing left. Fortunately I was wrong and tossed it in the car.

Besides the amplifier, my plan is to save any salvageable parts, hardware emblems, etc.
