Yay, that knob index shows what I need, and the numbers match those given in Sams. So, the fine tuner (106596) is clear and looks like the one I'm currently using on my other CTC-11. The channel selector (109398) that I have is the correct one, after all. And so on.

Having pictures to go with the numbers is very helpful. Thanks!

The CTC-4 had a convoluted 3-piece UHF-VHF channel/FT knob assembly, and there is a large fine tuning ring. It's thin, fragile, and vulnerable, and often missing due to breakage.

That fine tuning knob really is fragile, mine has a crack but it's still intact.

Sorry Phill, I couldn't find the transparent version of that knob(just the almond and black versions) and did not have time to search all the many large bins of TV knobs the guy had.
