This is one of the threads, yes. Unfortunately this site limits the number of pictures you can upload, so as I've worked on newer projects I've had to clean house of old stuff so to speak.

The reason why I host my photos off site in a nut shell. Cleaning house wastes time and hurts those needing photographic info on sets I've posted on.

Thumbs up ctc7

Here is a couple screen shots of the 7. I thought at one time we could buy extra server space from VK. [ May be wrong]. I am at 7.32 which is about half way.
This 7 is working good. Had to replace a few caps, And re solder some broken grounds so far. The only problem left is the green in the color picture is weak.
Tube replacement did help a little but will have to check voltages and wave forms. Nick you did do a lot of work on this set. This set has been fun to work on.

Glad to see it back on the road, it took many months of work to get it where it is that's for sure! Most of that was related to the cabinet, the photo finish it had when I got it was done for.

The tiny amount of space to store images made sense back around 2000-2001 when vBulletin was first made.

Nowadays you could quadruple that amount and likely not have a significant impact on the servers.

Wow that 7's looking good Ed! I am anxious to see how much better my ctc 7 will look, one of these days, when I get the better 21CYP22A installed in it. Likely it will be a winter project now!

Thank you guys. Dave, I bought a CTC9 and a CTC10. Both of the set's have good 21CYP's in them so I will have a spare 21CYP if you need it. Could you please post a picture of your 7, Or point me in the right direction if you have a post on it? Is she a looker? When I get the color working right I will post the results.

Thanks, I have a good emission, used 21CYP, I'm just waiting to heal up from hip replacement surgery two weeks ago! It will likely be a winter project, I will have to take pictures, I don't think I ever posted any. My ctc7 is the Sanford model, with factory uhf installed! Cosmetically its in decent overall shape, but far from perfect. It is currently the oldest color tv I have ever owned or worked on. I have recently started capacitor replacement on a ctc10a that I bought at this year's ETF Convention in May.
