I guess the CRT is a 21CYP22, although I can't see any marks besides a serial number. Using 21CYP22 settings when testing it on my CR70 gave sensible results.
I made a makeshift fuse cap and the B+ lit up, but I didn't give it much voltage, and only did a very brief trial to confirm that there are signs of life. This set will have to wait its turn. When the time comes, I'll replace the p-s electrolytics before powering it up again. Phil Nelson |

Definitely some life in this old clunker.
So far, all I've done is to replace the electrolytics and some small caps on the sweep boards. Haven't had time yet to do any of the usual setup, or even adjust the focus. The audio from this set is stunning. Television for grownups. Phil Nelson http://antiqueradio.org/index.html |

Hey Nick! I hate to see anyone having back troubles that young. Mine has been giving me grief since around Thanksgiving. I go for an MRI Wed. A.M. Nothing seemed to work regarding Medication or therapy.

I know, trust me. I'm very abusive to my body, I assume I'll slide into the grave in a back brace doped up on vicodin at that pace I'm currently on. A big part of it is the bed I'm sleeping in- it's a Simmons pillowtop that caved in on itself. They refused to honor the warranty, so I know have to take them to court. That's a story for another day though, if you want to know more about it, just look at the customer opinions of Simmons and their matresses....
