My three main cameras are a Canon AE-1 for 35mm, a Yashicaflex to which I forget the exact model that I use for square MF negatives and a Mamiya RB67 Mk II for full-size medium format photography.

I have other random cameras I've used for other jobs like a Nishica N9000 for stereo photography and a Brownie for pinhole but a lot of other cameras I don't use because they require expensive film/negative processing (Eclair ACL 16mm, Sankyo CME-880, Pentax Auto 110) or they need expensive repairs (Canon F1 MkII, Pentax 67, Kodak Pocket Junior)

I'm pretty loyal to the selenium light meters as they last forever, they are easy to test and easy to read out.

I wish me a "Mamiya", but they are quite expensvie here.
Maybe a folding "Moskva" 5 will do the job.

I got a reasonably good price on a used kit from South Korea, so don't think I bought it locally.
$350CAD + $50 shipping.

You got it cheap.
In Romnnia $400 Ca.D. is around the minimal wage (sallary).

The Mamiya 500/1000DTL camera bodies use a modern LR44/A76/S76 battery, always have for some reason, despite being made in the mercury battery era.

Since your in Eastern Europe maybe you can get a Kiev 88 pretty cheap

I also have been meaning to sell my Canon AE-1P, I much prefer my F90X/N90S and Yashica Lynx 14 for 35mm duties.

I think I have about $500 US in my RB67 kit, two lenses, two backs, a Metz 45CT flash, Metered prism finder, waist level finder, hard case, a nice heavy duty Vivitar tripod........

"Kiev" 88... they might have some mecahnical problems. Notorious for it's unreability was the East-German "Pentacon" SixTL
Probably "Mamiya" thought in advance and knew that one day Mercury batteris will be baned.

I have a Hasselblad 500c/m as my main camera, and a Minolta Autocord as a backup. The 'Blad has an 80, 50, and 180 lens, and 3 backs for it.

I also have a Nikon F2s for 35mm....

Backs? = that thing in which you can load the film and remove without the film to be affected by light?

Canon AL-1 QF

I found this like new 1982 dog at an estate sale a bit back. A whole kit for $25;

AL1 body
Canon FD 50mm
Vivitar 28-200mm zoom
Canon QAF 6600 flash
72mm polarizing filter
52mm haze filter
Bag and all manuals

The problem with the AL-1 was the battery cover that broke the lock tab if you looked at it and Canon never fixed the problem. Mine was broken but a bit of engineered Velcro strap across the battery cover and up the grip side fixed it to working. And it does work great. It is aperture priority so all you can do is set the f-stop and let the camera determine shutter speed. Adding the Canon flash moves it to flash priority. And the focus assist with an early LED style over/under display does work. True autofocus came later. It looks like only FD lenses will work with the focus system. It does not use the FD automatic position for the AL-1 camera operation.

Heh, the 'focus help' on mine is a magnifier for the viewfinder.

Everything's manual on it. It doesn't even have a light meter...

Film photographer here. I own Nikkormat FTN, Nikon FG, Kodak Retina 1b, Olympus 35RC, and Minolta SRT 201 with lenses and accessories. Can scale focus, use a rangefinder, and use SLR manual and mechanical film cameras. Also own a Gossen Pilot meter. I get my film processed and scanned to digital and work hybrid.

My cousin is getting married this weekend, I might drag out the RB67 and a few rolls of Ektachrome out to that ordeal. If I kill two rolls I can mix up some E6 chems and develop all my slide film, including some star trails on Provia maybe.....
