New To Forum...

Howdy all. My name is Tim. I have recently begun doing my own work on my small collection of vintage TV's. I have two Philco Predicta Holiday models, an RCA 8-T-841 and a Motorola 12VT16 with a busted front glass thanks to Fed Ex. UGH.

I have been on the Antique Radio Forum quite a bit. My backround is in guitar amplifiers. Mainly the Ray Butts EchoSonic. Some Elvis fans probably know about that one.

Anyway, I hope to be able to add something to your great community.
Tim

Hi Tim Welcome to the forum.

I've been following your Predicta thread with great interest since I've got one to fix up too I started on it ages ago, but got frustrated and shelved it....

I think we have the same RCA model too. I plan on working on mine over the winter.

So what's MBL mean ?

Bob

I am almost done with Predicta number two...Just put in a newly built K4 network. and now I have to check a few more resistors to be sure they are within tolerance...then the board gets reattached. I might just order a full set of new tubes as well. MBL stands for Midnight Bowlers League...my rockabilly band in Tampa FL.
