That is one of the coolest TV placement I have seen in real life!

I love that photo. Looks like my kind of place. Very classy and authentically '60's which is authentically timeless.

As I understand it, this set is on display at an Elvis museum at or nearby Graceland. Along with various outfits Elvis wore in concerts and such. And maybe the gun Elvis mistook for the remote?

Someone at AK mentioned that he had the same model of RCA TV as the one Elvis shot. That the King must have had as much trouble trying to get it to work as the Aker had...

You realize that the DTV transition will happen during the next administration...

Watched part of it on my '74 Philcomatic III, but turned it off to listen to music.

Watched it last night on a 2002 RCA Scenium 52-in. CRT projection running picture-in-picture (watching ABC and FOX simultaneously); this is the twilight of that mode: no more OTA PIP ever again in just three short months.

not quite so.

You'll need two CECBs! One set to RF output applied to the antenna connector of the set, the second applied to the video input of the same set.

Didn't watch... However, had I thought about it, it would have been a historic event to watch the acceptance speech on my Zenith Roundie, which very possibly also showed live speech(s) by Martin Luther King Jr in it's newer days.... I wonder how many color TVs could boast that? Dream envisioned 1960s; Dream realized 2008.

I sat and gritted my teeth in front of my computer through 2 hours of it, and was pleasantly surprised when my candidate WON!
