Popular Electronics TV quiz!
Those of you that have some of the early 1960's version of Popular Electronics will remember this and those that dont will love it. I scanned in one of Robert Balins famous quiz's from those days. Most are all about general electronics tests with cool pictures, but this one is about basic TV trouble symptoms. It is really cool and may interest many here... at least for the fun of doing a small quiz.
Please copy the next 2 lines and fill in your answer and reply!! with 1._Z, 2._N etc.... I will reply with how many you got right. (dont go searching for one of the old issues...this could be just really fun to do.) or PM me and I will send you the answer sheet that Robert put at the end of the issue. You can also just print out the page and have fun on your own as well and just PM me for that answer. I love these..it stimulates the brain! 1._ 2._ 3._ 4._ 5._ 6._ 7._ 8._ 9._ 10._ 11._ 12._

Sent a PM too you as well Tom!
I would send a copy of the scan I did of the answers that Bob Balin made but I cant find how to Attach documents here on this forum in an email or PM. Maybe at the end I will just post the picture here when everyone is done. Its cool becuase he added alot of text for each answer. God I loved Popular Electronics back in the 60's and 70's!! They were all so cool to read. Now what do we have????? aarrgg. Here is a cool one from 1959... I love the projector... and that price of 35 cents...... I think PE started in 1954 or 55 though. It was one of my Fav's!

Well..seeing that not many people are looking at this quiz now and most all of you got it correctly, here is the actual scan of Bob's answers with really good explanations as well. I hope you all had fun with this. This was in the July 1966 Issue of Popular Electronics. I really miss that trade.
