Old Admiral -- any info? anyone want it?

In our basement is a real old Admiral TV. I'm not actually sure this is color, nor if it works or anything like that. This behemoth was in the basement when my parents moved into this house 25 years ago. But does anyone know anything about this TV? Would anyone want to buy this? Is it worth money? Thanks.

According to the Sam's index it's a B&W set, Sam's 643-1 published in 1963.
Nice looking set, not worth a whole lot to most collectors but it would be nice if someone could give it a home so it won't wind up in the landfill.

Well, it's now up for sale on Boston craigslist for the best offer. Thanks for the info.
