Just an update on this thread I dug out the circuit for the Admiral set that I put pics up of in post number eight.
I scanned the circuit and have attached it here. How similar is this set to it's American counterpart if one does exist? Its an Admiral 16H110.

Yeah, that's as American as Apple Pie - with a few tweaks to make it receive CCIR 625/50 )(damping resistors to widen video IF ?)(sound pick-off/IF retuned to 5.5 Mc)(has orig US AC voltage doubler also ?)(yet most US Admirals of that date had power transformers too ?)
