I think it has a transistorized IF section, so I'm guessing 1969, not '65.
I think we can all guess what happend here.

You are correct, its a 1969. I emailed the seller and said he threw everything else out but the chassis. Go figure. Had to be in chicago too.........

at least the chassis will be put to use, I guess didn't try to sell whole tv?? usually most Zeniths sell.

I ended up winning the chassis to use as a spare for my Zenith. I'll keep you guys posted to see if its true that it is a working one as described. I still need to get a convergence board for mine though if any of you have a spare one laying around. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I recieved the chassis today and have installed it already. Like the seller said it worked fine after i replaced the anode lead which was hard and brittle and the HV tubes. I still need a convergence assembly for it as mine is fried. Half the pots are open along with the rectifier chip on it so i have no control of the right and left horizontal and vertical controls. If any of you have one you could sell me that will work with this chassis let me know. Its the kind that mounts behind the speaker opening in the front.
