Zenith portable radio

So I broke one of these a few years ago and thought I wouldn't mind getting another. But it got bid up way high last night. Anyone have any idea why this went so high? It certainly wasn't the crappy repaint job the seller did on the dial scale. I've had 2 of these, got one for free, and one for $5 and that one was the "long distance" model, so I didn't think they were worth that much.

i have a couple of these radios , one is the version without a handle and the speaker area is like a window screen painted , i don't know why it went so high , maybe because it works and the location ?
i see them at shows all the time and they are about $20 to $25

I had expected it to go for around $20. I had just sold a couple of similar GE portables one went for $10, one for $28, and I had expected I could pick this one up for the same. It was kind of interesting that it still had that warranty sticker on it, but I would hardly think that would triple the price. I like the one I still have, the "long distance" one in a green cabinet, better anyway.
