Reece,
Thanks for the nod!
The grill cloth I robbed off a 60's Astro Sonic that was headed for the landfill (that one won't be missed). I got 4 panels of cloth off of it, plus a pair of horns and woofers.
I had to soak, rinse and repeat 3 times to get all the nicotine out of the cloth...yech! But you're right about being a good match.
I'm thinking of gold leafing the rosettes...maybe?

I needed 3"nylon screws for mounting the chassis to the cabinet. Of course no one here has 3"nylon. So I'll just shrink a couple of layers of insulation around the bolt and keep "the shock value" to a minimum that way.

Sure appreciated the help Reece.
Thanks
Martin

Gold leaf would be good, maybe rub a little stain over them afterwards for antique look.
