Anybody else celebrating Groundhog Day?

I sure am, by watching one of my favorite movies. Groundhog Day with Bill Murray. I've actually been to the filming location of Groundhog Day in Woodstock, Illinois.

I'd practically kill to have a couple days to a week of the 70's.

One thing about the north that is hard to deal with is prolonged lack of sunlight....It gets to the point of being depressing always being under overcast skies, plus the short winter days....Add to it working in a basically windowless cube room weekdays, and you start feeling like "Sun? What is a sun? I know of nothing called sun....Who yew kallin son, son? "

It seems somewhere in the course of planning the world the grander architects decided that engineers are not supposed to be within 100' of a transparent window that leads outside...Makes me rather annoyed.

I'm pretty much nocturnal and overheat VERY easily, so I'm in my element right now. Considering all the Winter haters, not to mention all those who tell me how I should live my life, it's probably for the best that I keep to myself most of the time.

I would have celebrated by driving on the railroad tracks, if they weren't fenced off and if I had a car.

Sounds like a fire code violation.

I always watch Groundhog Day on Feb. 2nd.....just like I always listen to Alice's Restaurant on Thanksgiving! (I also watch the WKRP "turkey" episode then too!)
